Under Fives Roundabout Toddler Group meets on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays during term-time between 9:30am and 12:00noon at Mayfield Primary School, Warwick Road, Cambridge.

The Toddler Group caters for children aged from 13 months up to 3 years, accompanied by a parent/carer. It has an experienced leader who guides the children through a variety of different activities.

The morning begins with free play including a home corner, sand, water, play dough, craft activities, cars, trains, baby toys etc. This is followed by 20 minutes of outdoor play on bikes, trikes, a trampoline and in the outdoor playhouse before moving back inside to read books and have refreshments seated at a table. There is then a story time followed by indoor play on the larger toys (climbing frame, slide, ride-on cars, rocking horses, doll's buggies, dressing up etc.). The session ends with music time - a chance for the children to play on drums, tambourines and bells, sing some songs and then say good-bye.

The group is limited to 18 children and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost per session is £3.30 for the first child and £1.20 for brothers and sisters over 13 months (baby siblings come free!)

The move to our new premises in the Community Room at Mayfield Primary School has been a great success and we hope you are as pleased as we are with our new surroundings. Both Monday and Tuesday groups are proving very popular.

We have had lots of interest from parents wishing to start in September and due to this demand, we have decided to join up with the baby group which has been running on a Friday, to open as a 'Toddlers and Baby Group' This will follow the same structure as the other two days but we hope to encourage more parents with babies to come along and hopefully watch some of the babies move on to the toddler group.

We will run the Friday session initially on a trial basis and the price per session for toddlers will still be £3.30 payable half-termly and for babies under 1 year with no other siblings attending, £1.50 per session (which can be paid weekly, as we understand how unpredictable babies can be!).
