Under Fives Roundabout Playgroup meets weekdays during term-time between 9:15am and 11:45am at Mayfield Primary School, Warwick Road, Cambridge. There is also a lunch club for those over three years old from 11:45 to 12:30 with children bringing their own lunch.

The Playgroup caters for children aged from 2 years 9 months. Children with birthdays in the Autumn Term start in September, those with Spring Term birthdays begin after Christmas and those with Summer Term birthdays begin after Easter. The group meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Autumn Term increasing to 5 days a week by the Summer Term.

The group has two qualified and experienced members of staff supported by a volunteer parent / carer and numbers no more than 12 children for each session.

A typical morning might include:

09:45 Free play
10:15 Tidy up time and story
10:45 Snack time
11:15 Outside play
11:45 Table top activities
12:15 Home time

The cost per session is £8.20 and Nursery Education Funding is available for the term after the child turns three years old.

Nursery Education Funding: - All children are eligible to up to 5 x 2.5 hour sessions of childcare a week during term-time from the term after their third birthday. Roundabout will apply for this for you.
