Hope everyone is enjoying the snow!
We will be open tomorrow (unless
there are any last minute emergencies). Please make sure your
child is dressed properly for the weather. The children can
choose to go out in all weather.
Preschool news
Is
anyone handy with a sewing machine? We have some material to be
made into aprons. Please see Sam or reply to this email if you’d
like to help.
In this cold weather, warm snacks like tea cakes, crumpets, and toast are very much appreciated.
Bake Sale Friday 10th February
There
is going to be a cake sale on Friday the 10th of Feb. It starts
in toddler group from 9:30 am, then moves over to preschool at 1130 for
lunchtime and the end of day. Please bring homebaked cakes,
cookies and savouries to toddlers or to preschool at lunchtime.
Remember - due to several children with allergies, please no
nuts. Or bring some money to buy some yummy goodies for lunch or
teatime. All funds raised go towards craft materials for both
groups so please be generous!
Gate code has changed
The
gate code at preschool had to be changed last Wednesday. Please
do not let any children know the code. This is the second time
we’ve had to change it because children at Mayfield know the
code. The gate is there for the safety of the children at
Roundabout. Only the adults dropping off and collecting children
need to know the code.
Toddler Group news
Staffing changes
From
next half term, Sam will be leading toddlers on a Friday. Sonya
is moving to another exciting role within Roundabout. Monday will
stay with Ana and Tuesday keep Dana. All staffing changes are
subject to change with the changing requirements at preschool and
toddlers.
Please make sure your children are dressed
sensibly for the weather and also for getting messy. We do have
aprons but they can’t cover everything.
Toddler Group Fees – Next Half Term
Monday 20th February – Friday 30th March
6
weeks - £21.00 for one child or £28.20 for two (siblings under one are
free; carers with just a baby under one are £1.50 each time).
Please
pay promptly asap at toddlers or by BACS (email for details if you do
not have them). We limit the numbers at toddler group so if you
haven’t paid for the half term there may not be space for your child.
